Field Notes Pack of 3 - Shelterwood Edition

Sold Out

Inspired by the vanishing subgenre of agricultural memo books, ornate pocket ledgers, and the simple unassuming beauty of a well-crafted grocery list, the Draplin Design Company of Portland, OR in conjunction with Coudal Partners of Chicago, IL bring you “FIELD NOTES” in hopes of offering “An honest memo book, worth fillin’ up with good information.”

Leave it to Draplin to give us what we didn't know we wanted This time: wood paneled pocket notebooks. That's right. Actual cherrywood graces the covers of the limited edition Shelterwood memo books. It's flexible and durable, and comes in naturally varied grain. The wood is sourced from Illinois and Wisconsin, and gives your pocket companion a certain undeniable gravitas. Plus, these wonderful woodies are ethical, as Field Notes puts it, they're made "with just a few 60 foot logs, converted into 5000 feet of “Sheer Veneer,” with very little waste...the waste is recycled into wood pellets to heat the factory!" Righteous. Style you can feel good about The front sports a soft matte white print, and the inside is a gentle off-white page with green ruling and shining golden staples. Truly, this is luxury.

Invest in Shelterwood while you can. It's basically like having a 1970s den in your pants. Just think of the "..or are you happy to see me" jokes.
