Douk-Douk Folder Pocket Knife
$30.00
Originally designed in 1929 by Gaspard Cognet, the "Douk Douk" knife is still manufactured by M.C. Cognet using the same construction methods. Emblazoned on the handle is the mysterious Douk-Douk costume worn by a secret society within the Tolai, an indigenous people on the Gazelle Peninsula in New Guinea. On the blade itself are acid-engraved arabesques and the name of the knife.
The construction of the "Douk Douk" knife is incredibly simple and rugged making for a resilient utility knife. It's not fancy, rather unrefined, but durable and long lasting leading to it's continued popularity.
