Hand-Eye Supply & Laurence Sarrazin at the Museum of Contemporary Craft

Please Join us for a double-header presentation on design and craft!
Hand-Eye Supply will talk about their special projects, including the 2011 winning Starlight Parade float 'The Creative Spark', their design of the American Craftsman Apron and the HES Makers of the Modern Era catalog. In addition an overview of the concept behind Core77's flagship store, located in Portland's Old Town will be discussed and supported by an open talk about the 'maker spirit' presently found in Portland and the Pacific NW.

Laurence Sarrazin, designer and Hand-Eye Supply collaborator, will be addressing her creative process including her experiments with form and materials. She will reveal an inside-look at the sometimes turbulent operation of developing ideas into form with a show of her favorite models for the audience to examine.
