Geier Glove Company was founded by the Geier brothers in 1927. Since then their products have shown consistent attention to detail, both functionally and aesthetically. Still family owned and operated in Centralia, Washington, their high-quality and practical gloves live up to their motto, “Western made for Western trade.”

The Heavyweight Elkskin work glove is for business. Maybe not briefcase-wielding timely-email-response business, but just about anything else. The heaviest of our Geier gloves, they’re thicker than the Deerskin Buckle gloves and the Elkskin Slip-on gloves, made from resilient heavy weight Tannery Run leather and designed to handle just about any rough work you do. Tough material is combined with good design to maintain flexibility and dexterity, while keeping you safely covered. Fully welted thumb, welt tipped fingers and closed outseams on the back make this glove comfortable, tough, and long-wearing. On the wrist-back, a single large snap (with a long tab for grip) makes donning your gloves easy and fitting them over or under sleeves simple. These tough gloves were designed for working barbed wire fences and other tasks where many gloves fail. Ideal for heavier work around the house, shop, or sprawling acreage.

Good looking, good working, good smelling (at least when you first get them), and produced in genuinely small and large sizes: Lady and Man-Beast Approved.

The Geier party line on glove care is this: wear them. Your hands and work will provide enough oil to condition them over time. If they stiffen after getting wet, avoid heat drying and wearing them will soften them back in.
